CHAI Lab

Our research spans interdisciplinary topics in computational hydrology, with a strong emphasis on the application and development of advanced AI/ML methods. We aim to advance the understanding, prediction, and management of complex hydrological and environmental systems through the integration of domain science and computational approaches. Our work has been supported by NSF, NASA, NOAA, USDA, DoD, and state agencies. We collaborate across disciplines and institutions and are always interested in connecting with students, researchers, and collaborators with shared interests. We are located in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
